  • Your privacy is an essential part of the therepeutic relationship. What you say is confidential and protected by law. Your information is only released with your written consent, except in rare circumstances where there is concern for your safety or the safety of others, or when required by law. Please don’t hesitate to bring any additional questions up to your therapist regarding confidentiality.

  • Yes, we accept insurance. The insurance companies we work with include: Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, and Medicare. We also accept private pay in which case rates are $150 for each 60-minute session.

  • We do not prescribe medication, but we can help you find a provider that does if needed.

  • Meeting with your therapist for an initial 15-minute consultation ensures that you and your therapist will be aligned on your needs and your therapist’s ability to work with you toward your goals. If at any point, you feel your therapist is not the right fit, we will discuss it openly and we will provide referrals or help connect you with another therapist who may better meet your needs, ensuring you continue to receive the best possible support.

  • If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact your therapist at least 24 hours in advance. This allows time to offer the appointment to another client. Except in cases of emergency, missed appointments or late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) will be charged $100.

  • We do not provide crisis counseling, but the following resources are available to you free of cost in the case of an emergency:

  • If you have questions or concerns between sessions, it can be helpful to write them down and bring them to our next appointment. However, if something feels urgent or cannot wait until our next session, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email. I will do my best to respond Monday-Friday between 9am-6pm.

  • Sessions are generally 45-55 minutes. Clients typically meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on clients’ needs. The length of time while in therapy will depend on individual clients’ circumstances. The therapist and the client will determine that together.
